Lasko humidifiers are great units to own. One of those units is the Lasko 1115 3-Gallon Evaporative Recirculating Humidifier.This unit works the same way as the 1128 9-Gallon version.

The difference is that this humidifier holds 1 ¾ gallons of water. 3 gallons of evaporative water will be released into the air. It’s a smaller unit that can humidify an area up to 1500 square feet.

The low setting is not as noisy as the other two settings (medium and high), although the low setting doesn’t put out a lot of evaporative water into the air. The medium setting sounds like a box fan, so it should be tolerable for most people.

The humidifier can operate for more than 12 hours. The evaporative water is cool so if you don’t want cool air in your room, you might want to try a warm mist humidifier. You will have to deal with white dust in your unit if you decide on the warm mist.

Just like with other humidifiers, this unit is easy to clean and easy to refill with water. You should clean it once a week and change the filter once every couple of months. The filter might have to be changed sooner if you have hard water. The filters for this unit are pretty cheap and you can buy then direct from Lasko or on Amazon.

It has an automatic on/off switch so that it will turn off when the humidity reaches the desired level. It will turn back on when the humidity level falls below the desired level. You can also set it to stay on continuously if you don’t like the on/off function.

You can purchase this humidifier online for less than $50. That’s not a bad price for humidifying a large apartment or a small home.
